Captain - Alex Hadrych
Captain Alex Hadrych graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown Basic Peace Officer Academy in October of 1999. Shortly after he began his Law Enforcement Career with the City of Splendora Police Department as a Reserve Police Officer. In early 2000 he was assigned to the Patrol Division and the Splendora Independent School District as a School Resource Officer. In 2001 he was assigned full time to the Patrol Division and was assigned to third shift for several years where he promoted to the rank of Patrol Sergeant. He now serves in the capacity of the Captain and maintains oversight of the Special Operations Division and daily operations of the department. In addition to his responsibilities as a Captain, he also holds certifications as a Swift Water Technician, Basic SWAT, Cyber Crimes Investigator and is certified through TEEX(Texas A&M Engineering Extension Services) as an Accident Reconstructionist. In September of 2018, Captain Hadrych successfully completed the aerial and ground school training program required to take the FAA Part 107 UAS test. In doing so he has earned his FAA Part 107 License to operate UAS/Drone Aircraft in support of the public safety mission. Captain Hadrych is a recent Graduate of the FBI-LEEDA Executive Command Leadership Institute. Captain Hadrych enjoys fishing and is a huge fan of the Houston Astros.

Lieutenant - Troy Teller
Lieutenant - Eran Denzler
Lieutenant Troy Teller graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown Basic Peace Officer Academy in December of 2009. Lieutenant Teller graduated from the University of Phoenix with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. Lieutenant Teller came to Splendora in 2015 with 7 years prior experience in Law Enforcement. In those prior 7 years, Lieutenant Teller served 3 years as a member of the Crisis Intervention Response Team in Harris County Sheriff's Office Mental Health Unit, which was a unit that was formed to serve those who suffered from mental health crisis. During Lieutenant Teller’s tenure at the City of Splendora, he has promoted within the Ranks up to Lieutenant. Lieutenant Teller currently oversees Operations and Logistics for the Splendora Police Department. Lieutenant Teller also has completed numerous advanced certification such as, Advanced Accident Reconstructionist through TEEX (Texas A&M Engineering Extension Services), Hostage Negotiator and active member with Texas Association of Hostage Negotiators, Public Information Officer, Cyber Crimes Investigator, Internal Affairs Investigator, Field Training Instructor, Police Instructor, Mental Health Officer through the State of Texas and a recent Graduate of the FBI-LEEDA Executive Command Leadership Institute. Lieutenant Teller currently holds his Advance Peace Officer License.

Lieutenant Denzler oversees the Special Operations Division of the Splendora Police Department which consists of the Strategic Response Team (SRT), Special Response Team (SRG) for crowd control purposes, and Swift Water Rescue Team. Throughout his law enforcement career he has served as a Patrolman, Corporal, Sergeant, Fire Marshal, EMCSRT Tactical Medic and Team Leader. He holds several certifications both in Law Enforcement and in the Fire Service to include; Certified Law Enforcement Instructor, Field Training Officer (FTO), Special Weapons and Tactics Certified (SWAT), Less Lethal Munitions Instructor, Diversionary Device Instructor, Explosive Breach Instructor, Special Response Group Certified (SRG), SWAT Sniper, Emergency Medical Technician, Tactical Medic, Emergency Medical Services Instructor, Swift Water Rescue Technician, Fire Service Instructor II, Advanced Arson Investigator, Advanced Fire Inspector, and several other certifications. He is a recipient of several life saving awards, Montgomery County Hospital District Life Saving Award, Harris County Fire Marshals Office Hurricane Ike Award, East Montgomery County Fire Department Hurricane Harvey Accommodation, Fire Officer of the Year 2008, Greater Houston Area Rotary Firefighter of the Year 2013, Santa Fe High School Active Shooter 1st Responder, and also responded to the Cleveland Texas Active Shooter incident on May 29, 2019 as the EMCSRT Team Leader who's team apprehended the suspected shooter. Lieutenant Denzler is a born and raised Texan, and is married with 5 children.
