Captain - Hadrych
Captain Hadrych graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown Basic Peace Officer Academy in October of 1999. Shortly after he began his Law Enforcement Career with the City of Splendora Police Department as a Reserve Police Officer. In early 2000 he was assigned to the Patrol Division and the Splendora Independent School District as a School Resource Officer. In 2001 he was assigned full time to the Patrol Division and was assigned to third shift for several years where he promoted to the rank of Patrol Sergeant. He now serves in the capacity of the Captain and maintains oversight of the Special Operations Division and daily operations of the department. In addition to his responsibilities as a Captain, he also holds certifications as a Swift Water Technician, Basic SWAT, Cyber Crimes Investigator and is certified through TEEX(Texas A&M Engineering Extension Services) as an Accident Reconstructionist. In September of 2018, Captain Hadrych successfully completed the aerial and ground school training program required to take the FAA Part 107 UAS test. In doing so he has earned his FAA Part 107 License to operate UAS/Drone Aircraft in support of the public safety mission. Captain Hadrych is a recent Graduate of the FBI-LEEDA Executive Command Leadership Institute. Captain Hadrych enjoys fishing and is a huge fan of the Houston Astros.

Lieutenant - Teller
Lieutenant Teller graduated from the University of Phoenix with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and later went onto graduate from the University of Houston Downtown Basic Peace Officer Academy in December of 2009. He joined the department in 2015. At that time, he had seven years prior experience in Law Enforcement, during which time he served for three years as a member of the Crisis Intervention Response Team with the Harris County Sheriff's Office Mental Health Unit. This was a unit that was formed to serve those who suffered from mental health crisis.
During Lieutenant Teller’s tenure with the City of Splendora, he has advanced within the department multiple times promoting to his current rank of Lieutenant. He currently oversees Operations and Logistics. He also has completed numerous advanced certifications such as: Advanced Accident Reconstructionist through TEEX (Texas A&M Engineering Extension Services), Hostage Negotiator and active member with Texas Association of Hostage Negotiators, Public Information Officer, Cyber Crimes Investigator, Internal Affairs Investigator, Field Training Instructor, Police Instructor, and Mental Health Officer through the State of Texas. He is a recent graduate of the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy program through the Executive Command Leadership Institute and currently holds his Advance Peace Officer License.
