Assistant Chief of Police - A.Hadrych

Assistant Chief of Police Hadrych graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown Basic Peace Officer Academy in October of 1999. Shortly after he began his Law Enforcement Career with the City of Splendora Police Department as a Reserve Police Officer.  In early 2000 he was assigned to the Patrol Division and the Splendora Independent School District as a School Resource Officer.  In 2001 he was assigned full-time to the Patrol Division and was assigned to the third shift for several years where he was promoted to the rank of Patrol Sergeant.  He now serves in the capacity of the Assistant Chief of Police and maintains oversight of the Special Operations Division and daily operations of the department. In addition to his responsibilities as a Assistant Chief of Police, he also holds certifications as a Swift Water Technician, Basic SWAT, and Cyber Crimes Investigator and is certified through TEEX(Texas A&M Engineering Extension Services) as an Accident Reconstructionist.  In September of 2018, Assistant Chief of Police Hadrych successfully completed the aerial and ground school training program required to take the FAA Part 107 UAS test.  In doing so he has earned his FAA Part 107 License to operate UAS/Drone Aircraft in support of the public safety mission.  Assistant Chief of Police Hadrych is a recent Graduate of the FBI-LEEDA Executive Command Leadership Institute. Assistant Chief of Police Hadrych enjoys fishing and is a huge fan of the Houston Astros.
