A - SHIFT SUPERVISOR

R. Hardin

Graduated the Police Academy in 2010 for Law Enforcement. Since then Officer Hardin holds an Intermediate Police Officer's License. He joined the Oil Field Industry to be a Technical Service Engineer before returning to Law Enforcement with SPD. In September 2018, Officer Hardin successfully completed the Aerial and Ground School training program required to take the FAA Part 107 UAS test and is now licensed to assist with the Community Safety Mission. Office Hardin is also the President of the Police Officer's Association.

B - SHIFT SUPERVISOR

J. Rutherford

J. Rutherford grew up in Montgomery County and has multiple years of service as Deputy Constable of Montgomery County before coming to Splendora Police Department. He has achieved many accomplishments including Police Instructor, Firearms Instructor, Sexual Offender Compliance Officer, Fleet Manager, and was recently promoted on December 2018 as Patrol Supervisor. He oversees all patrol functions, guides and trains the patrol with great knowledge and leadership.

R. Gest

Started as an Emergency Medical Service for 20 years on an ambulance and Jail Medic, then a Deputy for the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office prior to currently serving as the Warrant Detective and Bailiff for the City of Splendora. He is part of the SRT Team, CID Division, Swift Water Rescue Team, Certified Instructor, Court Security Specialist, and Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate.

PATROLDIVISION

St. Romain

Graduated the Police Academy in 2008. Part of the Harris County Sheriffs Office and Harris County Precinct 4 Constable before having the honor of becoming a Police Officer for Splendora Police Department since 2016.

R. Davis

US Navy Veteran, Security Contractor for US Army in Afghanistan, Integrity SR Supervisor for pipeline/oil field industry, graduated the Academy and commissioned in 2012, Evidence Technician, and Field Training Officer (FTO)

 

D. Santiago

Graduated from the Police Academy in 2017.  He has had the honor in joining Splendora Police Department as his first law enforcement position in 2018.

R. Culberth

H. Mestizo

Joined the Police Academy at Houston Community College and the first police officer of the family. Has been in law enforcement for 3 years and privileged to serve and protect the community at the City of Splendora with a certification in Swift Water Rescue and part of the East County Strategic Response Team.

 

M. Divel

Started his law enforcement career at Woodbranch Police Department, then proceeded to Roman Forest Police Department, followed by Jersey Village Police Department before finally having the opportunity to be the K9 Officer for Splendora Police Department with a certification as a Field Training Officer and first-line supervisor.

K9 Ordy

Ordy has been with Splendora Police Department since Spring of 2017. He was brought to us by home town hero, Brian Robison, in association with K9s 4 cops.  He has been instrumental in helping get criminals and drugs off our streets.

M. Jones

 

Officer Culberth along with his Father became the Police Chaplains for Splendora PD before dedicating himself in January 2019 to the Police Academy and joined Splendora PD in June 2019 as a Police Officer. Not only is Office Culberth a Co-Pastor, but also as a Police Officer and Chaplain. It's Officer Culberth's desire to protect, serve and make a difference in someone's life, in the City of Splendora. 

J. Childers

Officer Childers works full time for EMC Fire, and through our partnership with them, decided to come on board as a Reserve Officer with Splendora Police Department since 2018. Childers serves on our SRT team as a tactical medic and SRT Member.

Chief Clerk

M. Enloe

As our Public Information Officer, Monica maintains social media platforms and handles communications for the Department. Monica also maintains all records and serves as the Clerk for the Chief of Police. She is also in good standing with the Texas Municipal Court System.

It's Officer Culberth's desire to protect, serve and make a difference in someone's life, in the City of Splendora. 

 

Administrative Assistant

Studied Criminal Justice and Police Science at San Jacinto College and graduated from University of Houston from the Police Academy. Began with Harris County Precinct 4 Constables office in 2006. Licensed as an Advanced Peace Officer and Instructor License through T.C.O.L.E. Became an Accident Investigator, Crime scene photographer, Field Training Officer and Instructor.

As our Administrative Assistant, Tracey assists with daily record keeping, accounting, and grant solicitation for the department as well as all secretarial duties as assigned.  She has had more than ten years of experience with City government, Economic Development, both Non-Profit and Civic organizations, fundraising and events.
