A - SHIFT SUPERVISOR

R. Hardin
Corporal Hardin graduated the Police Academy in 2010. He took a short break from law enforcement in 2014 when he joined the Oil Field Industry and became a Technical Service Engineer. He returned to Law Enforcement in September of 2016, making Splendora his agency of choice. In September 2018, He successfully completed the Aerial and Ground School training program required to take the FAA Part 107 UAS test and is now licensed to assist with the Community Safety Mission. He was promoted to Corporal in January of 2020. Corporal Hardin is also the President of the Police Officer's Association.

B - SHIFT SUPERVISOR
J. Rutherford
J. Rutherford grew up in Montgomery County and has multiple years of service as Deputy Constable of Montgomery County before coming to Splendora Police Department. He has achieved many accomplishments including Police Instructor, Firearms Instructor, Sexual Offender Compliance Officer, Fleet Manager, and was recently promoted in December 2018 as Patrol Supervisor. He oversees all patrol functions, guides and trains the patrol with great knowledge and leadership.

R. Gest
Officer Gest started in Emergency Medical Service where he served for 20 years on an ambulance and as a Jail Medic. He then became a Deputy for the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. He is currently serving as the Bailiff City of Splendora and patrolman for the police department. He is part of the Special Response Team, CID Division, Swift Water Rescue Team, Certified Instructor, Court Security Specialist, and Intermediate Emergency Medical Technician.
PATROLDIVISION

R. Davis
Officer Davis is a United States Navy Veteran, was a Security Contractor for the US Army in Afghanistan, an Integrity SR Supervisor for the pipeline/oil field industry, and graduated the police academy and was commissioned in 2012. He is currently serving within the department as a Patrolman, Evidence Technician, and Field Training Officer (FTO)

H. Mestizo
Officer Mestizo graduated the Police Academy at Houston Community College in 2014 and is the first police officer in his family. He has now been in law enforcement for 4 years. He is certified in Swift Water Rescue and is part of the East County Strategic Response Team. He feels privileged to serve and protect the community of Splendora and its citizens.


D. Santiago
Officer Santiago graduated from the Police Academy in 2017 and chose Splendora as his agency of choice to work for. He was the Splendora Officer of the Year in 2020 presented by the East Montgomery County Improvement District.

K9 Ordy
Ordy has been with Splendora Police Department since Spring of 2017. He was brought to us by home town hero, Brian Robison, in association with K9s 4 cops. He has been instrumental in helping get criminals and drugs off our streets.

R. Culberth
Officer Culberth along with his Father became the Police Chaplains for Splendora PD before dedicating himself in January 2019 to the Police Academy and joined Splendora PD in June 2019 as a Police Officer. Not only is Office Culberth a Co-Pastor, but also as a Police Officer and Chaplain. It's Officer Culberth's desire to protect, serve and make a difference in someone's life, in the City of Splendora.



J. Childers
Officer Childers works full time for EMC Fire, and through our partnership with them, decided to come on board as a Reserve Officer with Splendora Police Department since 2018. Childers serves on our SRT team as a tactical medic and SRT Member.

D. Simmons
St. Romain
Officer St. Romain graduated the Police Academy in 2008. He became part of the Harris County Sheriffs Office and Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's office before having the honor of becoming a Police Officer for Splendora Police Department. He has been an active officer with the department since 2016.

T. Walters
As our Administrative Assistant, Tracey assists with daily record keeping, accounting, and grant solicitation for the department as well as all secretarial duties as assigned. She has had more than ten years of experience with City government, Economic Development, both Non-Profit and Civic organizations, fundraising and events.

R. Culberth
Pastor Culberth became the Police Co-Chaplain for Splendora PD in January 2019. tin the City of Splendora.

Chaplin

Officer Simmons graduated from Dayton High School in 2002. He then joined the United States Marines and served for eight years. Following his desire to become a police officer, he attended the Police Academy and graduated in December of 2017. He became a reserve officer for Splendora PD shortly thereafter, and came on board full time in October of 2020.
